Quinta dos Carvalhais is a 27.00 ha farm, with olive groves, blueberries, gooseberries, cereals and forest. The black oak forest next to the accommodations takes us to a dimension where peace of mind prevails. This accommodation has mountain and pool views. It has 1 bedroom with two double beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and a private terrace with pool view. You also have a sofa bed for one person. We provide the following equipment of playful, recreational and educational character at Quinta: - Old wood-burning oven for making bread, cakes, pizzas,...; - Stone barbecue grill for cooking meals; - Eira de pedra antique to work out the cereals; - Old stone tank; - Room for promotion actions and Workshops; - Playground located in a forest area; - Interpretative plates of agricultural crops; - Esplanade equipment for terraces and pool; - Pool and its surrounding area of great natural beauty. Guest access All Farm access. Guests can participate in agricultural activities if they wish. They can cook their meals in the kitchen, in the centuries-old stone oven, and traditional stone barbecue. They can take walks and hikes on the Farm. Ample and free parking. Other things to note Quinta dos Carvalhais is located next to the Serra da Estrela Natural Park and next to the Mondego River - the largest river that rises in Portugal. The location is privileged, the views are magnificent and inspiring. In the distance you can see the 4 mountain villages that surround the Farm…. They are vast and bright the horizons! The harmony of light and the landscape leave us flooded with beauty and excitement. At night the starry sky is unique and authentic. This is a world without pollution.
