Home in Lawrence

A rustic Cape Cod tucked away in plain sight just a block from the KU campus. A short drive or Uber to downtown Lawrence or a nice walk to Allen Fieldhouse or Memorial Stadium. The Kokopelli Room is one of two main floor guests rooms named for the room's Kokopelli area rug. Brand new mattress, from mattress hub, as of 4/1/22! The space Home away from home. Comfortable beds & space to cook, eat, work, read, relax. Or, walk to a KU game. No fuss with parking just leave your car here. Can drive to Mass street for restaurants or several great bars that are very unique. Please be safe, Uber/Lyft home as needed. Guest access Backyard has fire pit (weather permitting) Large patio with grill, lounge chairs, & glider. During your stay I give each guest a keypad code to the front and back door for access at ANY time. Host is home most of time but please call or message at any hour if you need anything. Other things to note I like to let the chinchillas out in evenings. Guests are free to watch them run & play. Host will offer & must be present during play time to wrangle fur babies back home to their cages. I have four total rooms listed on Airbnb so multiple guests may be present during your stay, but our house is spacious enough to accommodate everyone comfortably.
