Welcome to our beautiful victorian apt. It is located in the historic Black Rock area of Bridgeport. Black Rock is a coastal neighborhood on Long Island Sound offering great restaurants, pubs, coffee houses, live music venues, local beach, boardwalk on Long Island Sound. Very conveniently located just minutes off of i-95 and a 15 minute walk to Fairfield Metro Train Station. You can catch Metro North trains from Grand Central Station NYC. TRAVELING NURSES inquire about long term stay discounts. A separate entrance will guide you into a private downstairs one bedroom apartment. This space offers about 7 hundred square feet of living area. Everything is new and in excellent working order as you can see from the pictures provided. It has a very spacious feel and there are several windows that offer daylight. The ceilings are 8 feet tall and there is more than enough over head lighting to keep it nice and bright if you should choose. The kitchen is equipped with a full size stainless steal refrigerator, large microwave oven, toaster oven, and double burner electric portable stove for cooking light meals. Two smart TVs located in the living room and bedroom. Reliable, fast WIFI connection available for working from home. Private washer and dryer available for guests staying for more than 5 nights. Three good size closets. There is a in ground swimming pool available in the summer time. Off street parking. Guest have access to the backyard, back patio (with gas grill) and pool area. The backyard & pool area are shared spaces, so please be respectful to others and help keep it beautiful and clean. You will have access to a dedicated laundry area...for stays of 5 nights or more. We are always available via phone or text message. This house is centrally located in a nice neighborhood and is in walking distance to a near by neighborhood Seabright beach. There is also a St. Marys By The Sea - a beautiful board walk that overlooks Long Island Sound and offers great expansive views. Ash Creek is an inlet off of Long Island Sound that is a tidal creek that wines through beautiful salt marshes perfect for kyacks, paddle boards, fishing, and shell fishing. It is chock full of all types of birds. Osprey, Blue Herons, Egrets, Hawks, Swan, ducks, Canadian Geese and of course Segals. We are also in walking distance of a great selection of pubs, restaurants, coffee houses, live music venues and so much more. PLEASE TURN ON YOUR AirBnB NOTIFICATIONS!! PETS - UPDATE as of 12/2022. If you are considering bringing a pet, you must let us know in advance of your booking and include a brief description of your pet- Breed & size. We are no longer accepting animals over 30 pounds or heavily shedding breeds. Animals are not allowed on furniture or in beds. An additional fee of $50.00 per animal will be added to your booking. Important - Your pet must be: house trained, well behaved, friendly, non barker, non destructive. You are 100 percent responsible for cleaning up after your animal (DOG HAIR) and any damage that may be caused. Unfortunately - due to some past guests dishonesty about the nature of their pets behavior, if you bring a pet that breaks any of the above rules, it will be considered as a break in our contract and additional fee's will be applied. There is a stone patio with a grill for you to use. There is an in-ground pool that is available for swimming and relaxing by from June through mid September. There is a nice small neighborhood beach just a 5 minute walk away. Harborview Market is an excellent neighborhood deli/coffee house with plenty of seating indoors and out. Another short walk will take you up to Fairfield Ave where you will find a ton of local restaurants, pubs, music venues, and other local business’s. If you are into Vegan/vegetarian then you are in luck - just a 2 minute walk take you to Blood Root Restaurant. Located on Black Rock Harbor, Blood Root offers amazing home cooked Vegan meals with beautiful water views and indoor and outdoor seating.
