Cosy & cool Studio apartment in an idyllic village

Situated in a beautiful old village of Osek, this stylish and cosy studio offers great hiking, cycling, paragliding and other leisure options, including superb wine & gastronomy. Set amidst the Vipava valley, a picturesque wine region of Southern Slovenia, the 30m2 studio comfortably sleeps 2 people (another 1 or 2 may fit on the sofa bed). The village and the valley offer a wide range of activities to nature explorers, gastronomy&wine lovers, sports and cultural activities, or just pure peace! The space The interior of the studio is mostly made of natural wood and stone, floor is oak wood (oiled), it comes well equipped with modern amenities, a kitchen with dishwasher, all without too much furniture. The king-size bed is 160x200cm and very comfortable, the sofa bed is 120 x 190cm and will nicely fit one adult or two children. Refurbished from a 200-year old stone building with traditional materials and a touch of modernity, the space is fairly light (2 windows and glass door) as well as voluminous, well air-conditioned (inverter aircon + 2 IR panels). Guests are invited to share the lavish woodenterrace space (60m2) with the hosts, who will do their best to provide for the guests good peace and privacy. The terrace is a cosy, tucked away place for reading, meditation, having a meal or just inviting one's glance wonder over the village, the church tower, and the Carst plateau ridge across the valley... The parking lot might be agreed just under the terrace (covered, a bit narrow), or more comfortably next to the road 30m from the entrance . Languages spoken: English, Deutsch, Croatian/Serbian, Slovenian. Guest access The studio unit is separated from the main house with an own entrance, the large 60m2 terrace is shared with the hosts, however studio guests will enjoy the privacy of their own terrace table. The property offers a quiet, lush garden, including own organic vegetables and fruit -- and plenty of birdsong! Besides a healthy, children-friendly village atmosphere and easily accessible pristine hills and mountains, you can also explore nearby dreamy villages or enjoy both old and modernist towns, as well as several sea and river beaches within an hour's drive of the house. Other things to note At the guest's ow risk, children may share the outdoor children playground with trampoline, 3 swings, a slackline... Smoking is prohibited in the studio, and on the wooden terrace upstairs, but smokers will find a spot or two with an ashtray downstairs :) In dry summer open fire use is prohibited. The hosts will make sure all guests will be registered with the local authorities during their stay. The tourist tax of 1,25 EUR per day per person is not included into the price of booking, and should be paid in cash (left on the table, in approximate sum) at the property.
