The space This old cottage and barn have been lovingly restored over 20 years. Recently completed with a new kitchen, dining room conservatory and barn extension. There are 4 double bedrooms, 2 in the cottage, and another 2 ensuite double bedrooms in the adjoined barn. Wood burning fires, a pretty garden and country walks from the door will give you comfort and relaxation in all seasons. The house is quirky and arranged over multiple levels. A well fitted kitchen includes all basic provisions. The beds are extremely comfortable and, with the clean air, will help you sleep like a baby. Talking of which there is a travel cot and high chair too. The downstairs sitting room has a low ceiling and wood burning stove whilst the upstairs tv snug enjoys double height beamed ceilings. Wifi throughout plus piano and acoustic guitar. The brand new family bathroom upstairs enjoys a double height ceiling, huge bath and a powerful shower. The top barn bedroom has a wood burner and ensuite loo whilst the lower barn bedroom has an ensuite loo, sink and shower. A pretty path from the kitchen leads to a cottage garden overlooking pastoral fields with a comfy bench, fire pit, dining table and chairs. The Red Lion pub in the village has a great menu and another 4 gorgeous double bedrooms if your party expands. Guest access There is a key safe to allow you to arrive at a time to suit you after 4pm. You will have access to the whole house, but not the attic which will be unoccupied but locked. Check out is 10am. Other things to note In the winter keep the wood fires burning and you will be snug. Logs provided. The house is double glazed and insulated. The Kitchen and barn have underfloor heating. Radiators throughout.
