After arriving at Central Station you take a left and within a few minutes you will see our lovely harbor, tucked away like hidden treasure, yet right in the city center. Enter your private houseboat apartment and you know you have made the right choice for an unforgettable stay in this buzzing city with your beloved one. Welcome to the Pearl Houseboat! The space We are proud to say we have recently renovated this ship, making it possible to build 'the perfect houseboat'. By using the shape of the ship, we have managed to create a unique and personal holiday home on the water. You get aboard via the wheelhouse from where you have magnificent panoramic views over the harbor. During your stay you will enjoy the ever changing scenery. From the moment the city wakes up and birds play on the misty waters, till the nightfall with the last boats cruising by.   Descend the 5-step stairway and you enter the lounger corner in the back of the ship. The U-shaped couch is a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast and make plans for the day. We offer a small but convenient kitchenette with a coffee machine, water cooker, and tea & coffee facilities, as well as a fridge. Basically everything to prepare breakfast or light meal.  Please note : it is possible for us to covert the couch that you see behind the wooden table into a bed. Only upon request,before you arrive. In that case you can not use the table any longer as described above, as it all becomes a bed. Another 5 steps take you down to the most cozy and tastefully decorated bedroom you have ever seen, with a very comfortable king size double bed. We have chosen to use a combination of 'earthy' materials such as wooden timber work, warm cotton bedding and rugged steel and copper details to show the industrial history of this former freight ship. Along with the shades of ivory paint this results in a warm and natural atmosphere. There are plenty of wall- and very useful USB-sockets so you won't have any problems charging your devices during your stay. The bathroom offers a stylish sink and design radiator to dry your towels. Furthermore there is a comfortable shower and toilet.  With a view! The whole apartment has comfortable floor heating and great insulation so you will be comfortably warm even during the coldest winter nights. We hope that during your stay you will enjoy one another and the pleasures our neighborhood and our city offers. This is why we do not have televisions or radio's on board. But for the ones who can not live without (social) media, we do offer excellence fast WiFi. The only thing you have to do is bring your own mobile(smart)phone or tablet/computer with you. Or let us know if you prefer us to provide you with one.
