Description
It is a charming house nestled in the wooded, flowered and enclosed park of an 18th century house located in a valley of the Brenne Natural Park. The house has been refurbished according to the rules of the art. Bright, convenient, tastefully furnished, it accommodates 4 people and offers an equipped kitchen dining room, living room, 2 bedrooms, full bathroom, central heating, wood stove, laundry access, annexes, private terrace, large garden, private parking, bicycles and 2 artist and poet hosts! The space The poetry of this house, the calm of this hamlet and the charm of this village crossed by the adorable Anglin River, located in the vast Brenne Natural Park, a natural as well as cultural park, the land of a thousand ponds, woods, farms and castles, abbeys, chapels, paths and streams, the silence and transparency of the starry nights moved me some twenty years ago when I discovered this dormant house to set up our workshops. I must tell you: my wife and I are artists (painters, writers and poets) and we receive here relatives, friends and guests who are as sensitive as we are to these true, beautiful and simple things of nature that our crazy times are bent on destroying and which in these places are still protected. If real life is nowhere else but in ourselves, there are places where it is found more easily than elsewhere. Come, you will see and you will come back! Guest access The seasonal house is completely independent of the main house and therefore completely yours. It is a stone house that offers you all the desirable comfort and charm as well as the tranquility of a private sunny terrace overlooking the enclosed park of the property. It gives its name to the hamlet La Babuchonnière. The park is shared with us and accessible everywhere. You will love its beautiful centuries-old trees, the pretty hazel wood, the hedges all around lined with birds, the flower beds animated by butterflies, the fountain animated by a small family of frogs that children love... Cars are parked in the front yard of the property which is closed by a gate. Bicycles are stored in a locked shed. The close neighbors are charming friends, and their chickens and cats run around in their poetic garden. The country road that crosses the hamlet will lead you on one side to the fields, meadows, woods and the river that waters the village of the Abbey of Saint-Savin, the Gartempe, and on the other side to the hamlet near Puychévrier and the gentle Anglin river that waters Mérigny, Angles sur l'Anglin and its valley from where other paths will lead you to the thousand ponds, woods, farms and castles of the Brenne Natural Park... Come, you will see and you will come back!! Other things to note Verification of the required ID
