Courtyard Cottage @ Threave Farm

SA00013F **Please note there is no TV or WiFi at the cottage*** Courtyard Cottage is one bedroom self catering property situated between Kirkmichael and Crosshill. Close to the walking village of Straiton and near to the dark sky park, we also have the ‘Ayrshire Alps’ on our doorstep for cyclists. We are less than a five minute drive from Dalduff wedding venue. Turnberry & Royal Troon golf courses are a short drive. Dumfries House, Culzean Castle and the Isle of Arran are all well worth visiting The space The Cottage lies within the courtyard of Threave Farmhouse. We offer secure parking for bicycles and motorbikes. Guests are welcome to use the courtyard for sitting or eating outside. Due to the age of the building the doors are quite low and our kitchen has a sloping ceiling so our tall guests will have to duck! *****The cottage is “off grid” there is no TV or internet service.****There is however a good 4G service locally. There is also selection of DVD”s a TV monitor, radio, books and games. Please note for longer stays guests can use our washing machine and tumble dryer as we are unable to fit them into the cottage. Other things to note We have chickens at the farm which roam freely along with two cats and from time to time we bring our horses and pet sheep up to the yard from the fields.
