Guest house summer seat Hermannshof
Description
The picturesque property, located 30 minutes from the Hannover trade fair, was planned in 1920 by the artist-architect Bernhard Hoetger with an extensive park and buildings. The guest house has two floors of upper-middle-class living culture on almost 200 square meters with a large hall, salon, kitchen, bathroom, TV room and three guest rooms. The space The terrace faces north so that the garden is in the light. The representative hallway has an opulent staircase. The salon is wood-paneled with a timelessly beautiful tiled stove for cool days. Music is welcome! The salon houses a tuned piano of the highest quality. The TV room between the kitchen and the salon is equipped with a sofa bed for an additional guest bed. Sleep quietly in upstairs rooms with taste and without plush. Instead, simple New Objectivity. The guest rooms on the first floor are equipped with friendly reading lights and desks, all with Wi-Fi. Wooden floors and fitted wardrobes are original. We did not have a TV, not least because of the look. Important football games can still be watched. The Blue Room is south-facing and has the character of a hermitage with its 16 square meters. It has built-in closets and can be used as a single or double room with two beds. The green room was originally the maiden room of the founding family Rexhausen. It has a window to the south and a balcony door to the east. It can be used as a single or double room, is 20 sqm with fitted wardrobes. The Yellow Room was originally the bedroom of the masters. It has two windows to the north side of the park and the balcony door to the east. It measures 32 sqm, has built-in closets and a French bed 140 x 200 cm The bathroom with oak planks is currently renovated in the style of the 1920s with a separate toilet and wet cell area. The modern kitchen has a kitchenette with dishwasher, four hotplates, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer. There are also kettles, pots and dishes. The terrace has a dining table with 6 – 8 comfortable chairs. Comfortable loungers are also available for the garden. Guest access The terrace and the 3-hectare park are freely accessible. In the middle of a clearing towards the northern quarry you will find a graceful garden pavilion, ideal to use as a tea pavilion. Pyramid poplars border the meadow, a reforested ornamental forest protects the enchanted place. The Hermannshof is also a place for art-minded people who want to afford time-outs, who need space for new thoughts. Meet for a family conference. Or simply don't want to do anything: holiday days when silence has returned to the Hermannshof. And there are walks around it too. Other things to note Days and nights at the Hermannshof The muse invites - stay, it's so beautiful: doing what needs to be done, inspired and focused. With each other or for themselves. As a temporary refuge where ideas and projects can take shape. Also with art outside and art inside for artists who are invited as part of their projects. Projects such as Literature Days, Summer Workshops, Thinking Times. Meeting and exam, laboratory and workshop, family celebration and party. Time out and retreat. That's what we have rooms for. The house in the park. It is a roof for art and encounter. The youngest building in the Hermannshof ensemble was inaugurated in 2003 and was nominated for the Lower Saxony State Prize for Architecture in 2008. The architects are Karsten Schlüter and Kazuo Ishikawa. We provide projector, flipchart, pinboard. The house is sloping so that the landscape can pass through. Everything is possible here: the alphorn and the Txalaparta play here, it is sawn and painted, fed and drunk. The poet reads, the dancer dances. People are silent and sing and clap, they watch movies or football. Sometimes they have a party. Part of the building, the "house in the house" is also warm and cozy in winter.
