The space Our 2 Owners Pool Pavilions are just that - designed for the 2 gay owners of this unique Balinese inspired compound. Each consists of a living/ dining pavilion with pantry kitchen, an air conditioned bedroom with four poster queen size bed, a courtyard bathroom with full hot shower, tropical tub ( bathe under the stars) and double vanity, with wc. Private plunge pool, and an elevated 'bale' ( resting pavilion with daybed ). Exquisitely designed with all amentities including wi fi, dvd player, flat screen, cook top, microwave and fridge, fully stocked. We have also compiled our favourite recipes into an in house menu enabling guests to access the gourmet cooking skills of our in house chef, Agung, at extremely reasonable prices ( see 'Guest Access' for menu details) The food is authentic and superb and we encourage you to enjoy it! Colourful fishing boats return to our village beach ( 200m away) every morning. Walks and cycles around the village , to nearby temples and through the ricefields are a delight. The famous and fabulous Echo Beach is a 20 minute walk along the beach. Seminyak a short taxi ride away for shopping and nightlife. Nirwana - Asia's best golf course is only 10 minutes away. Ubud, Uluwatu, and the best of Bali is all accessible from our home - it is a simple matter to arrange a tour for any area you wish to see . Horse riding in the next village and great surf breaks along this coast too! Tanah Lot temple is 5 minutes away. Please note we are in a pristine natural environment, and it is likely you will encounter critters such as small lizards, frogs, an abundance of birdlife, butterflies etc , during your stay. We love this aspect of our Bali home, but recognise that some folk may not be as enthusiastic as us about the local fauna . Also we ask guests to recognise that, although we have the best free wi fi service available in our area and service is normally perfectly adequate for recreational and casual use- , we are in a Balinese Fishing village and the internet speeds may not be what you are accustomed to at home. If ultra hi speed uninterrupted internet connection is high on your criteria for a relaxing Bali holiday - then you may want to consider carefully before confirming your reservation with us. Finally, traffic in Bali can be fickle –temple ceremonies, kite festivals, marriages and funerals use the same roads as you and I and can cause quite sudden and occasionally prolonged hold ups ( although the vision from the car window of these rituals can be amazing!).
