In addition to having the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro Station less than a mile from most spots in town Today, many residents still commute to downtown Washington via the MARC train which has a station in town. It is a safe and scenic 20-minute walk. If you prefer, there is a bus stop that would take you there, located 3 blocks from the apartment on Strathmore Avenue. This is a quick way to get to sightseeing by avoiding the 1.2 mile walk to the metro station, Grosvenor/Strathmore on the Red line.
