The Cart House

The Cart House is a luxurious open plan barn that can sleep 6 comfortably and has 2 double bedrooms plus a twin bedroom and 2 bathrooms. There is an open plan kitchen/dining/living area with a log burner. The downstairs bedroom can take a cot or an extra single camp bed. The space The barn has been sympathetically restored from the original farm building, so retains an abundance of character whilst incorporating all the luxury touches required by guests in modern kitchens and sumptuous bathrooms. We are passionate about eco/green technology generating our heating from a geo-thermal heat pump plus hot water from solar panels. We also have a wind turbine on site and recycle all our rainwater. Guest access The Cart House is part of a complex of 5 holiday cottages and the guest will have the entire barn to themselves plus a private patio with BBQ and seating. They then have access to a communal lawned area to the front plus an extensive play park.
