Te Awa Cottage Set on 30 Acre Organic Farm

Mahoetahi Farm a 30 acres organic farm Greg & I have retired to. Te Awa cottage is modern, light and airy, high stud & 2 generous bedrooms with a comfortable Ikea Sofa bed in the lounge. Spacious dining inside & out. Kitchen/bathroom well equipped & clean. Like to share flowers & produce from the garden when available. We love people & sharing our local knowledge. Next door Te Maunga cottage sleeps 2-4. Come and explore Taranaki. Ask about early check in or latecheck when available. The space When you arrive park in the carport(leaving space for another car beside you)Your cottage is not visable you will need to follow the paved path down the steps to the back of Te Maunga you will find Te Awa, open @ ready for your arrival after 2 unless organised with us for an early check-in. This can't usually happen if there is a same day guest changeover. Let us know if you are arriving after dark so we can put the lights on? Guest access Cottage will be open & ready for your stay. if we are around, we will welcome you. If not, please make yourselves at home. You are welcome to walk over the farm and take a swim or a picnic by the river. Follow the track down to the end & turn right into paddock. Go down the hill towards the bach and through the gate to the river. Just remember to close the gates and remember some fences will be electric. Other things to note There are animals on site Ricky( very friendly lab/border collie) he will collect a stick or ball tirelessly. My daughters dog Freda comes to stay sometimes She is a Napolean Mastif Big but gentle. Pepper black & white female cat who will probably visit. Also, lots of thoroughbred horses, a small herd of beef cattle, and a mob of free-range chickens. Go and explore...say hi feed the chickens your scraps if you wish kids can collect eggs etc just let us know.
