Set on nearly an acre, nestled amongst towering trees, The Nest is on the edge of the Yarra Ranges National Park and backs on to Badger Creek. With an ancient fern gully, flowering wattles, mesmates and candlebark gums, the property is visited by a host of wild things... parrots, rosellas, black and white cockies, kookaburras, wombats and deer. It's a quiet setting close to nature but with all the modern conveniences. As well as the two large bedrooms both with queen size beds, the accommodation includes a large lounge and dining area, warm combustion stove, fully equipped kitchen, laundry, large soaker bath and separate powder room. Wood for the fire, sheets and towels are provided along with some of the kitchen basics like coffee, tea, sugar, flour, condiments, butter and milk.
