Take the kayaks or row boat out to catch bass, northern pike! A terrific small community with hiking and ATV trails, walking distance from Huron National Forest. A short drive to Lake Huron, East Tawas, Lumbermans memorial, take a paddle boat tour down the Au Sable river or drive into Oscoda. Everything that getting up north is all about. The space Enjoy kayaking around the lake, sipping coffee on the deck. Ride bicycles around to the other 6 lakes nearby. Take a short drive to East Tawas and walk the main street or out onto the pier on Lake Huron. Grab some fresh produce and local fare at Saturday farmer markets in the summer. Take a short drive to hike and check out the view and the dunes at the Lumberman’s Memorial close by! Other things to note Cleaning- Our great cleaning lady thrives to make sure the cottage is cleaned and disaffected between guests, with proper virus killing disinfectant. Please help her by leaving the cottage as close as to the condition as when you arrived. Life jackets and throwable life flotation device are in plastic storage container on deck.
