Walking through the building's glass floor entrance, which reveals the ruins uncovered during the building's construction, you will immediately feel the ancient vibes of the city . In Ancient Athens homes were built around an open central courtyard. From the initial designs my family wanted the structure of the building to follow the standard classical Athenian home with the open courtyard. This loft apartment is on the top floor of the building and offers a private terrace overlooking the Acropolis, which is literally a stone's throw away! Located in the heart of the Old town of Athens, the picturesque and most sought-after district of Plaka, surrounded by cafes, restaurants and shops. The loft apartment has air-conditioning throughout, Wifi, and is very well equipped with two hifi systems with bluetooth connectivity, as well as a 55 inch smart LG TV. The wooden window frames and the wooden floors with in floor heating add another touch of luxury to the apartment. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped including a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, stove, and microwave. The modern bathroom has ample room to enjoy the hot shower after enjoying the sights of Athens. The main bedroom downstairs also opens up to its own small balcony. Although located in the center of Plaka, you will feel tranquil and restful thanks to the double glazed windows and the privacy of its own terrace on the 4th floor of the building. The house literally lies on top of the Ancient Street of the Tripods, the historic route that connected the Theater of Dionysus next to the Acropolis to the Athenian Agora, which made it the favorite “promenade” of the Athenians in ancient Greece. In the loft area upstairs, there are two large sofas (one becomes a double bed), that can ideally accomodate a couple or two friends. Other things to note You can store your luggage in the building anytime from 9am until the apartment is ready. Early check in/late check out is offered whenever possible.
