From 1939 until 1965 this building was an important part of the Harmonson Hatchery where 65,000 baby chicks were shipped out every 21 days in the spring to homes all across America. Now you can relax and enjoy the peace of the farm while great shopping and excellent food are minutes away or you can pick up your own supplies and cook in the vintage kitchen. If you are a coffee lover - our coffee bar is ready for you. Come and enjoy, bring your children to play. The space This great little cottage is designed for the business traveler, couples or small families (little children welcome). A very comfortable king bed with feather topper and soft linens is upstairs as well as a trundle bed. The sleeping area upstairs has a curtain that can separate it into two areas or it can be left open. Tucked back from the main houses, you have complete privacy, even a deck and small yard just for you. In the fully stocked kitchen, experience the original metal kitchen cabinets from 1939 as well as new amenities such as the insta-pot, smoothie blender, coffee bar complete with cool brew, expresso, french press and drip coffee pot, organic beans and grinder, stove and fridge. There are great grocery stores close by but if you like to eat out the Unique Dining Capital of Texas (Roanoke, Tx) is just a few miles up the road as well as the excellent restaurants in Keller. Both levels are heated and cooled by ductless, mini-split units. A vortex fan and space heater are also available for your comfort. The full bath is stocked with soaps, shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer, lotions, etc and a clothes steamer. Also available is a portable crib and high chair. In the living area is a wall mounted 52" smart TV and free wifi is available for your use.
