Guesthouse in Seattle

Backyard cottage, fully equipped with washer/dryer, full kitchen, tiled bathroom, private bedroom, keyless entry, and sleeper couch in living room. Popular neighborhood- a ten minute walk to great restaurants, pubs, coffee, shopping, groceries, and public transportation (15 minute direct bus ride to downtown Seattle). Close to Greenlake, Ballard, Woodland Park Zoo, Fremont, and other fun areas. The space We've lived in this house for over 20 years, and we have always talked about tearing down our unused garage and building a cottage. In 2016 we finally took the plunge. We are thrilled with how it turned out and are looking forward to sharing it with you. The spirit of the old garage lives on. All of the fir that is used for the kitchen counters, table, and seating was reclaimed from demolishing the garage. Guest access The patio in front of the cottage and cottage are yours- make yourself at home. The garden area is part of the main house and not part of the cottage area. Other things to note We have a small dog that does not have access to the cottage, but does use the backyard next to the cottage. The driveway leading to the guesthouse has a small camper trailer parked in it. You can walk around either side of it to access the cottage. There is lots of on street parking.
