Let the beautiful setting of Woodhall Park be the backdrop to your week or weekend stay in our luxury Georgian Manor House 'Garden House'. Set within the historic Walled Gardens of Woodhall Park, this stunning home is the perfect place for getaways with family or friends. Enjoy long walks in nature and experience the local wildlife or play a game of table tennis in our games room before retiring to our cosy lounge in front of the log burner. The space Garden House and the Walled Gardens within Woodhall Park were built in the 1780’s, with the Walled Gardens historically providing both formal and kitchen gardens. Garden House was traditionally the home of the Head Gardener. The house is situated on Woodhall Estate; a family owned private estate, rooted in the values of community, conservation and sustainability. We are still very much a working estate; livestock farming continues in the park, as well as arable farming and forestry across the wider estate. The preservation of the estate's natural beauty and heritage is at the heart of our work. There is plenty to do in the local area. There are many, varied, countryside walks right from the doorstep across Woodhall Park. St Albans, Cambridge and London are all within easy reach, but we think that the very best thing about staying at Garden House is the chance to relax in a beautiful setting, with an acre of private gardens, surrounded by trees, parkland, and wildlife. If you like bird spotting, squirrel, deer, or even sheep spotting, you will be happy here! We welcome well-behaved dogs. Garden House is a historic property with steps leading up to the main front door and stairs leading to all bedrooms and the family bathroom. There is also a gravel driveway to the front and back of the house. Unfortunately, the property is not suitable for wheelchair users or guests with limited mobility.
