Romantic Shepherds Hut & Wood-fired Hot Tub

Award winning romantic luxury glamping in the Stocklinch Shepherd’s Hut with a wood-fired hot tub, hidden away in a peaceful & private Somerset orchard of your own, with stunning uninterrupted panoramic views, sunsets & starry skies. Fully heated with a comfy raised double bed, compact kitchen, ensuite bathroom & award winning Michelin Guide 2023 pub, The Barrington Boar, within walking distance, makes for the perfect idyllic glamping retreat for R&R! Min age 21, no pets, children or smoking. The space Clever design packs a lot of features into a modest space! Our hut has a calm, relaxing feel, and is a great space to chill out in. And outside you'll find a wood-fired hot-tub, fire pit, BBQ and garden furniture to recline in, lay back and do a spot of sun worshipping, star gazing, fire stoking and al fresco soaking. And the plentiful supply of blankets will help to extend your evening keeping you cosy enjoying the view! It's fully heated with an electric wall heater & towel rail and very well insulated (with sheep's wool) so you'll feel cosy whatever the weather outside. The comfy raised double bed is 4 feet (1.2m) high and is accessed from one side only using 2 steps. There are a couple of folding chairs and a pull-out table. The kitchen has all you need to cater for yourselves with a combination microwave oven, hob, fridge, sink and a small selection of pots & pans, utensils and crockery along with some basic supplies of tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc. The modern bathroom has an electric shower, wash hand basin, heated towel rail and a flushing loo and a supply of organic toiletries for you to use. Guests have sole use of a wood-fired hot tub, outside table and chairs, BBQ, fire pit, and a generous supply of logs, firelighters, kindling and BBQ coals. Please note, the hot tub is log fired and will therefore take time to heat. It takes approximately 2 hours to bring up to temperature and requires regular stoking - every 20/30 minutes. Please let me know if you would like the hot tub heated and ready for you on arrival. All bedding and towels are supplied. Adults only with minimum age 21. No pets allowed. We do not allow any smoking either inside or outside the hut. A cleaning fee of £100 will be charged if ignored. Guest access Outside there are tables and diniing chairs, Adirondack chairs with footstools, hammock, a shady Wigloo and the hut’s steps function as a great seat with a view! You are welcome to walk or sit in the orchard area. Other things to note Due to the steps and the raised bed, the Hut is not suitable for people with restricted mobility. We do not allow any smoking either inside or outside the hut. A cleaning fee of £100 will be charged if you ignore this request. No pets or children allowed. The roads are very narrow coming into the village with no road markings and some blind corners so please take care and drive slowly.
