The space Welcome to Paddlers View, a stunning architect-designed property constructed in 2017. This spacious abode boasts an expansive open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area, featuring sliding doors that reveal a private terrace/deck adorned with a luxurious hot tub. Behold the breathtaking panoramic views of Kingsbridge estuary and the surrounding countryside, creating a tranquil haven for relaxation. As you unwind on the terrace, marvel at the water passenger ferry shuttling between Kingsbridge and Salcombe, while water enthusiasts, from boats to paddleboarders, embrace the tides. The town center of Kingsbridge is just a 5-minute walk away, and The Crabshell, a waterfront restaurant and bar famed for its delectable pizzas, is a mere 3-minute stroll. Indoors, the king room beckons with French doors opening to a veranda offering rural views over Kingsbridge estuary. The room boasts a wood-clad wall, a sumptuous king-sized bed adorned with exquisite bedding, and an en-suite fully tiled bathroom with underfloor heating—a true indulgence for your feet. The twin room, with its two single beds, is adjacent to a bathroom equipped with a shower, toilet, and basin. Both rooms feature The White Company towels, complemented by provided toiletries. If you need a travel cot, both bedrooms can accommodate one (please inform us). The utility room comes equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board, and iron. The stylish grey kitchen, in classic shaker style, includes a fridge, freezer, microwave, fan oven, hob, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle, and a range of utensils and cupboards filled with bakeware and serving dishes. Parking is conveniently located next to the front door on gravel chippings, with additional parking available on the nearby road if needed. If you plan to bring a pet, please contact me in advance, as there is an additional fee of £30 per pet per stay, details of which I will provide separately. Guest access Paddlers View is reached through a private drive, offering parking for one vehicle right outside the property. Additional free on-street parking is available if needed. While the property boasts level access, guests should note that the drive has a gravel surface, and there's a small stepped threshold at the front door. For added convenience, a key safe is provided, ensuring flexible check-in options. Nestled beside The Quillet (our residence), Paddlers View enjoys complete privacy and seclusion. Paddlers View extends a warm welcome to families with children, ensuring a child-friendly environment. However, we recommend that parents accompany small children on the rear terrace/deck and hot tub area for their safety. Smoking is strictly prohibited within the property. If the hot tub requires extra maintenance the guest will be charged. If the rules are followed such as: 1. no glass or food in the hot tub, 2. showering before you enter 3. do not use it if you are wearing fake tan then there will be no need to charge the guest. If the filter is blocked or the water changes colour this will indicate to us that a rule has been broken and you will be charged accordingly. Pet lovers are welcome, but please contact us before booking to provide details about your furry friend's breed. A modest fee of £30 per visit for pets applies, which we will request after booking. To enhance your stay, we offer several amenities, including a Nespresso coffee machine, GHD hairdryer and straighteners, branded toiletries, a beach bag, and a starter basket of wood with kindling for the wood burner (only between the months of October- April).
