A 2 Bedroom (1 Double and 1 single) Grade ll listed small cottage style property situated in the historic part of Newport and opposite, st. Woolos Cathedral. The property offers a cosy modern living whilst maintaining many of its original character and charm. The property is approx. a 5 minute drive from the M4 and approx. a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. The space The property offers a lounge/dinning area which leads onto a fully equipped kitchen with an integrated double oven and microwave, integrated slimline dishwasher integrated fridge freezer and an integrated washing machine. There are stairs leading to the first floor for the bedrooms and shower room, the stairs are original so they are steep and the steps are quite narrow with no balustrade therefore this may not be suitable for babies or infants or anyone that may have difficulties in climbing stairs in general. On the first floor you will find a double bedroom to the front aspect, in the middle is the shower room which has the toilet, sink and shower and then to the rear aspect is a small single bedroom. The property has a small landscapes garden to the rear. ***Please note with the property being located in the city centre there is no allocated parking at the property but there is on street permit parking directly outside the house and around the cathedral opposite that does have parking restrictions. The council will only issues us with a limited amount of permits per year and therefore are not guaranteed. If you feel you will require a permit please enquire before making a booking to check if one is available for your stay. Restricted parking times are 8am-6pm Monday to Saturday with 1 hour stay no return for 2 hours. All other times are fine to park without needing a permit.*** There is a public car park approx 500 meters from the property. Also the house is grade ll listed and therefore the windows at the front of the property are not double glazed so you will hear some street/Road noise. The property is located on Stow Hill, opposite St Woolos Cathedral, Newport city centre is approx a 5 minute walk down Stow Hill. Please bare in mind that the property is on a hill so various streets around the area can be steep. Guest access Guests have full use of the house and the rear garden.
