George Town City Sanctuary

We love our home town of Penang and there is nothing we like better than to wander it's streets, getting a little lost, discovering little gems, both old and new - the food, it's people and all the vibrant colours. We invite you to experience George Town as we do and be a part of this slightly strange, eclectic, incredibly interesting community with all it's quirks, nooks and crannies. This lovingly restored family townhouse is the perfect base to do just that. The space Our home is an old shophouse that has been in our family for generations. It has been painstakingly restored and renovated over many years, in keeping with all recommended conservation methods. The vision in our minds has always been to create a space that we would want to live in ourselves and be happy to have our family and friends in. Guest access The entire house is yours to use however do keep in mind that sound carries through the houses so please be considerate of our lovely neighbours. Other things to note It is an old house in a relatively quiet street in George Town. It has a somewhat open plan (which we love) due to the courtyard and the flow of the house. We have done our best to ensure a good night's sleep but do keep in mind that we are still in the middle of the city, along with all the sights and sounds that come with it.
