The Coach House

This expertly refurbished 19th-century Coach House is full of character and all ready for your luxurious relaxing break. The open-plan living area has a exceptional view, and when you want a change there's a large smart TV and good-quality broadband for entertainment. The kitchen comes with induction hob and oven, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as all the pots, pans & utensils you need for cooking up delicious meals. The shower room/toilet is conveniently tucked away in a corner. Walk up the distinctive oak staircase to find the upstairs bedroom, with its impressive round window. It sleeps up to three people in a kingsize double bed and a separate single, and there's also room for a travel cot for an infant.The Coach House is ideal for a couple on a romantic escape, or for a family with young children looking for a safe space to relax and play. The Coach House is bookable by the week (start day Friday), and for weekend and mid-week short breaks. ​ ​ ​ The space Around the Coach House is one and a half acres of shared secure meadow and gardens, a recreational area for all our guests to enjoy. Watch the lambs racing each other around our neighbours' field below, spot the buzzards circling above, and enjoy fresh-laid eggs from our resident chickens when available. The sounds of nature are here in abundance: the uplifting dawn chorus, the squeaking sounds of baby tawny owls demanding food, and the echoing calls of the lucky pheasants who escaped the local shoots. At night there are firepits available and when the sky is clear the stars are a wonder to behold. If you are lucky you may come across one of our resident hedgehogs, but you'll have to wait until after dawn to spot the timid rabbits busily nibbling the grass at the bottom of the garden.
