Our Riad is one of the hippest in town and where better than a stay in one of our economically priced rooms in a bucket list Riad in one of the oldest homes of the Fes Medina and in a fabulous location. This is a unique property and the Riad is super traditional in its islamic arquitecture and design but we have turned it around to make it functional for the trendy traveller and you´ll have fibre wifi, hot showers, AC and heating and a delicious breakfast to prepare you for the Medina. The space This is our beautiful spacious room on the 1st floor of the property and overlooks the stunning courtyard, the room is ensuite and has a double bed with a comfortable mattress and possibility to sleep 2 other guests on the other 2 beds. The bathroom has a basin, toilet and shower unit, the room leads off a pretty balcony which gives onto the patio below. The room has an AC unit which can be reversed to heating and traditional features in the room. Our traditional-style house has modern touches, like Wi-Fi and air con – a must during the warm summer months. And we've got people here to help make your stay amazing! We have multi-lingual staff on reception, 24-hour security and we'll organize trips to the Sahara Desert or Monkey Mountain in Azrou. Or immerse yourself in the culture and join in with local experiences, from basic Arabic classes to cooking lessons with Mama Sadia. Guest access There is paid parking close to College Om El Banine and you can pay the Guardian each day to take special care of your vehicle. As we are inside the Medina walls it is walking in order to explore the Ancient City. Taxis can be taken from the Batha Fountain (Nafuraton Al Bat.ha) or by the Blue Gate (Bab Beujeloud). Other things to note We regret that we are unable to store surf boards and bicycles. Please note that we have a variety of room types including dorms and single rooms and are know as being one of the more sociable Riads in the Medina. If you prefer total peace and quiet we regret that a Riad setting like ours might not be suitable. Our clientele tend to be under 45. We encourage guests to meet each other and feel comfortable in the communal areas.
