This is a completely new apartment finished in Summer 2019 by conversion of a building dating from around 1870. It is managed by Anne, an experienced hostess with 3 Newtonmore cottages. It is a house sized flat on two floors with 2 bedrooms and 2 public rooms plus 2 bathrooms and utility room. It is warm, comfortable, and well equipped. It is located in the beautiful Cairngorms National park, with its mountains, rivers, forest, and iconic wildlife. The village of Kingussie has many amenities. The space Our self catering flat is warm and comfortable with hot water and heating coming from a new air to water heat pump. It is well equipped with all bedding and cooking equipment, as well as essential supplies (tea, coffee, sugar, oil). There is WiFi and a big TV in the living room. An information pack has suggestions on activities and places to eat. Your hosts are Anne and Ian who have been living in the area for 10 years so can advise on a range of activities. Guest access Guests have sole access to the flat. There is onstreet parking but no access to the garden, which is a work in progress! If you bring pets the flat is located immediately next to the Church of Scotland, which has a lovely spacious churchyard for exercising your dog. Other things to note There is a keysafe for easy key collection. The apartment is energy efficient with a C rating for energy usage and B for environmental impact, both well above average.
