Family holidays with a heated pool & amazing view

Set in a quiet village, yet only 15km to the beaches of the Southern Vendée, Le Vieux Café is a real home-from-home, with everything that you would need for a relaxing holiday. Ideal for families, dogs welcome and owners living next door to offer help and support during your stay - not to mention the odd glass of local wine! Fantastic area for birdwatching, country walks, cycling paths and forest trails, plus miles of sandy beaches nearby. The house has panoramic views over a wetland valley. The space The house is equipped with UK and French free-to-air TV channels, High speed Fibre Wi-Fi throughout and comes with access to a huge games room with a dvd and book library, XBox 360, small snooker table, table tennis, and lots of toys and games for younger children. The bedrooms are all located on the first floor, so this house would not be suitable for guests with mobility problems. One of the 2 shower rooms is on the ground floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you would need - oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee maker (Senseo/Filter & plunger) and a supply of tea, coffee and sugar to start you off. All bed linens are provided, as are towels and tea towels. Guest access All guests will have access to the whole house, plus they will have shared use of the gardens, boules court, 12m x 7m heated swimming pool, games room and gym. There is a private terrace outside the house with a dining table, chairs and charcoal BBQ. Other things to note We have one other holiday home on site - l'Ecurie - so there may be other guests using the pool, games room, garden and gym during your stay. We live on site and have two very friendly cats - Fleur and Kitty!
