Located in the centre of the quiet fishing harbour village, The Postbox is metres away from Carradale Golf course and a 5 minute stroll from the sea. The space The postbox is situated in the hub of Carradale village and occupies half of the original cottage along with h’Airds, a micro-salon hairdressers and holistic therapies including Indian head massage and sound therapy sessions. The little postbox Reflects Kintyre’s Nordic past with contemporary Scandi style throughout the studio space. Inside the little postbox you’ll discover a woodburning stove with two well placed comfortable arm chairs with large chunky woollen throws in which to cuddle up in & enjoy the warm of the fire. You can watch the world go by from the dining table which is set into the window at the front. Wake up feeling refreshed from a good nights sleep in the scandi style birch bed. Extra bedding and towels should you need it are stored in the willow baskets under the bed. The Kitchen consists of an electric hob and oven, grill, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. The Shower room with shower, toilet, wash basin and heated towel rail. Guest access All of The little postbox's space is available for your use Other things to note Carradale has many woodland and coastal walks that begin right outside the front door! For golfers, Carradale's challenging 9-hole golf course is situated directly behind the property and has stunning panoramic views to Arran and Ailsa Craig. The little Postbox shares the building with h'Airds salon, which offers Indian head massage and sound therapy treatments , perfect for unwinding on your relaxing break, or for when the weather gets very Scottish! The cottage is self-catering and there is a Tesco and a Co-op (small supermarkets) located in Campbeltown, although it's worth noting that they are not 24hr opening. There is also a Tesco and larger Co-Op at Lochgilphead on the road to Carradale. We are lucky enough to have both The Ashbank Hotel and The Carradale Hotel as our next door neighbours where you will be able to enjoy a drink if you are arriving in the evening.
