Willow Barn & cottage Menheniot (school holidays)

A five bedroom and five bath converted barn and cottage set in an acre of beautiful gardens. Superfast internet access 2 additional beds can be added into the Barn and there is a sofa bed in the cottage. Cots are also available. It is a short drive to the towns of Looe, Polperro and Fowey The Barn and cottage are separate but immediately next to each other. EV charger. Beautiful gardens, countryside views and terraces, with 2 hot tubs. Dogs are welcome at Willow Barn The space Willow Barn comprises of the main house and seperate cottage sharing a driveway. There is an EV charger for guest use and parking for five cars. House: Bedroom 1 - large bedroom with Superking bed. En-suite with walk in shower. A fold out bed can be added to this room Bedroom 2 - Superking bed, En-suite with walk in shower. This bedroom is on the ground floor. Bedroom 3 - King sized bed , En suite with bath and shower above. A fold out bed can be added to this room Bedroom 4 - Generally used as a tv room but it has a double sofa bed There is a separate bathroom next to this room with walk in shower. TV with Sky. A fold out bed can also be added to this room. Kitchen - large kitchen breakfast room fully equipped with 2 ovens, super fast induction hob, large American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and wine fridge. Dining room / Sun room. Dining table that extends to seat 12. There are also two very comfortable reclining seats in this room that look out over the garden. Lounge - lovely triple aspect lounge with 3 large comfortable sofas, wood burning stove, 55 inch smart tv with multiple sport/ movie channel options. Sonos music and surround sound system. Utility room - washing machine, tumble dryer and ample storage. Cottage: Bedroom 5: Superking bed Bathroom: shower room Lounge with 42 smart tv with multiple sport and film channels. The lounge also has a comfortable sofa bed. Kitchen fully equipped with oven, microwave dishwasher and dinning area. Gardens - 2 separate patios with outside dining table, chairs, recliners, hammock, hanging chair and BBQ. There is a large unenclosed pond so young children should be supervised at all times in the garden. The grounds have two seperate hot tubs (one covered for inclement weather) Numerous garden games ( badminton etc. ) are available. Guest access Guests have the use of the whole house and cottage and the large gardens and both hot tubs. There is also a private vegetable garden with a small number of chickens. There is also a large unguarded pond and young children should be supervised at all times. Our guests are welcome to bring their dogs but please speak to the owners to understand the issues and rules at Willow Barn (we are surrounded by a farm with stables next door). Other things to note New superfast internet access A car is essential to make the most of the lovely areas to visit in Cornwall. The owners have extensive local knowledge and are always available to assist. The local village of Menheniot has an extensive Spar shop. The town of Liskeard with two supermarkets and other shopping is 10 minutes away (by car). There is a leisure centre with swimming pool, squash and tennis courts. The seaside towns of Looe, Polperro and Fowey are short drives as is Whitsand Bay. Dog walking is permitted all year round at our nearest beach Seaton. Adrenaline Quarry is 8 minutes away and has go karts and a huge zip wire The city of Plymouth with cinemas, shopping centres and extensive amenities is 14 miles away. There is a tennis club in the village with courts that can be booked for guests via the owners. The property is within a short drive of the beautiful South Cornwall towns of Looe, Polperro and Fowey Bodmin moor with its beautiful scenery and walks is also a short drive. The owners can advise on numerous restaurants in the area and there are both Indian and Chinese takeaways that will deliver to Willow Barn.
