A small sunny room, with ensuite and shower, for a single person, with a great view over the landscape of Monchique This is a quiet and secluded space between the hills of Monchique, ideal for those who would like to enjoy the beach during the day and retire for the evening on the hills or those who would like to hike and explore the tracks of Serra de Monchique. The closest beach is Portimao, 25km away - about 35 minutes drive. We welcome guests who appreciate a peaceful environment. The space Quinta Alta Vista is a working organic farm, growing vegetables on the terraces and gardens. We have cats, kittens, dogs, chickens and goats, if you want to interact with them. There are many peaceful places around the land for walks, connecting with Nature, meditating, chilling out. And inside, access to a large sitting room and big fully fitted kitchen. Guest access Guests have access to most of the 7-hectare property and are welcome to explore the terraces, gardens, woods and the natural spring water pools. There is a plunge pool for swimming, which is filled from the mountain water of Monchique. We like to give guests a tour of the land and then invite them to discover their own "favourite" place: the stone circle for yoga, the hammock on the River Walk or chilling out by Middle Pond. During your stay We love to welcome guests who have chosen to stay on our mountain farm and we offer to take them on a tour of the 7-hectare property, so that they can choose their own place to walk, picnic or chill out. This is a working farm so we are always around and always busy. But not too busy to chat to guests, answer questions or suggest local trips. And the place is also ideal for privacy and private relaxation if people prefer. We are available for texts, calls and emails. Other things to note The closest beach is Portimao, 30 km away - about 30 minutes drive. And about 40 minutes from Aljezur and the west coast.
