Enjoy the convenience of on-site private parking and bring your furry friends along – pets are welcome too! This 2-bedroom property with a vintage, rustic feel features an open-plan lounge/kitchen with a cosy log burner. There’s a stunning live-edged dining table, a snuggly sofa area with a flat-screen Tv, and a well-equipped kitchen with a conventional cooker, microwave, coffee beans and grinder for the cafetière, a fridge with a freezer compartment, and a bathroom with an over-bath shower. Our favourite features in The Wood Hatch are the beautifully designed, solid Douglas Fir “cubes” that serve as seats, coffee tables, and footstools all in one, easily gliding across the floor to suit your needs. You’ll fall in love with the driftwood light feature above your head, giving a warm, cosy glow to those evenings spent enjoying this wee snug. Outside, you’ll find a private south-facing veranda with additional dining facilities. This lodge sleeps 4 across one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. We doubt you’ll ever see another bedroom to match our twin; are you in a bedroom or an Army Camp? You decide! Just a heads-up! A cleaning fee of £70 will be applied to cover housekeeping and fresh linen, ensuring your stay is as comfortable as possible. Good news for pet lovers! Dogs are more than welcome to join you on your adventure for just £15 per pet, per stay, up to a maximum of two pets. Exciting news! Guest access The whole lodge is yours and feel free to roam our 11 acres of wood and park land and lakes too! Pets are welcome but please kindly let us know if you are bringing one, since we will make adjustments to the soft furnishings accordingly. There is a £15 charge per pet per stay (max 2), which will be applied and collected after the point of booking. Failure to alert us will result in a £15 charge for additional cleaning and laundering. Please note that there is a £70 cleaning and linen fee applied to each booking, which remains the same regardless of length of stay. This is a little less than what we truly pay for these services - we have added this fee so that we can keep our nightly rates as low as possible while still meeting the costs to open the lodge for your stay. It also allows us to offer 1-night stays, which we could not afford to offer when absorbing these costs. The longer your stay, the more economical the rate.
