Romantic Seaview Guesthouse Luxury Estate Seattle

Our romantic sea-and-mountain view apartment located a few minutes north of Seattle's Ballard neighborhood has a private entrance with self check-in, and sleeps up to 4 adults. Features a full kitchen with dishwasher, dining area, full bath, patio area with seating, gas BBQ, desk with iMac, free internet, living room with 55” LED TV & DirecTV, plus off-street/private parking. Shared common areas outside include the in-ground gas fire pit, upper deck, and landscaped yard. The space Our Seaview Guesthouse has the most stunning and awesome unobstructed west-facing view of Puget Sound and the snow-capped Olympic Mountains range you can possibly imagine (check out some of our many 5-Star Reviews). Our guests marvel time and again at the jaw-dropping sunset view. And in the mornings, this beautiful private sea and mountain view greet you when you first awake in the King Bed. Our Romantic Seaview Guesthouse has a spacious great room that serves as a living room and dining room. Ample sofa and chair seating, a 55" TV with DirecTV access, gas fireplace, and desk with iMac all have sea views. Our delightful and comfortable King Bed in the separate private bedroom offers plenty of natural light through the windows facing the Salish Sea/Sound. Glass sliding doors open to the patio from both the living room and the bedroom. The smaller but efficient kitchen has a pass-through counter/bar with 3 stools, plus there's a separate glass dining table that seats 4 people. Features include dishware, utensils and glassware, cookware for use on the 2 burner stovetop, combination microwave/convection oven, compact dishwasher, full size sink, toaster oven, coffeemaker, The great room features a pull-down full-size Murphy Bed and a separate single lounge chair that converts to a lie down position also is located in the large living room. Our Guesthouse can sleep comfortably 4 people. If you are willing to squeeze, an air mattress can be requested allowing 1 additional sleep spot. A major attraction of our Guesthouse is the outdoor covered patio area with table and chairs, a lovely, peaceful space to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening sunset conversation -- with that always-present stunning unobstructed west-facing view of the water and trees. You literally do not even see another neighboring house from either indoors or your patio! Instead it is a 180-degree sweeping views of nature, sea, and the Olympic Mountains, plus one or two tall cedar trees. Lots of birds make their home here too...all in all it really feels like an oasis despite being in the city of Seattle and plenty close to attractions. Please note we have another Airbnb unit on the property, and the entry path to that unit does cross the backyard. Guests use our Schlage keyless, self-check-in Entry Door Keypad Lock, so they can can let themselves upon arrival. SAFE CLEANING POLICY: For Guest safety and health protection, we thoroughly clean after each Guest stay and before each new Guest checks in. This includes all fresh clean linens/towels, using disinfectant cleaner on all frequently touched surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc.) as well as cleaning of the hard floors and furniture. There is off street parking for up to 2 cars (if parked tandem) in the spot for this unit, which we refer to as #1/Guesthouse. Spot is marked and instructions will be provided. Guest access The entire Romantic Seaview Guesthouse is private and yours to enjoy. You also have an outdoor private patio with table just outside your patio doors and chairs as well as a gas-powered fire pit (for ambiance, not cooking ;-). The backyard grass area can be accessed and enjoyed by overnight Guests (note that events or visitors have additional fees and require advance authorization). Please note the yard is a common area and may also be used by the owners or Guests from the other unit (#2/Suite) on-site now and then. There is a gas grill for exclusive Guest use on the side of the house near the entry. Beach Access to Carkeek Park via a nearby trail (off property) takes you into the Carkeek trail system and through the woods to the park and beach. Accessing the trail (about a 2-minute walk down the street) requires appropriate footwear as access is down a steep hill without pavement. Ask us about how to find the entrance to the trail. The neighborhood around our property are enjoyable for walking. There is a lovely cafe called Blue Ridge Coffee House just a 0.4 mile walk from the Guesthouse. There are not sidewalks so if you will be out at dawn, dusk or after dark, please wear reflective/visible clothing. Because our home in NW Seattle is a large multi-million dollar estate above the sea and facing west towards the Olympic Mountains, we are only comfortable renting to Guests who are willing to exchange full Contact Info with us in advance of arrival. Doing this also allows us to offer each Guest the special and unique privilege of Self Check-In by using a Schlage Keypad Entry Lock. We provide the Keypad Code when we send our WELCOME EMAIL and have received back the Guests full Contact Info, including Name, Address, Phone and Email.
