OWNERS ON SITE. NO CLEANING FEE. The Casita is a free-standing, studio guesthouse in the Mancos Valley, offering modern simplicity, with oak flooring, high ceilings, and steel finishes. Guests have a private hot tub with privacy screen and Adirondack chairs, and a private patio with an outdoor fireplace, gas BBQ grill, and patio furniture. The Casita has a full kitchen, 3/4 bath, full-sized appliances, and laundry. Additional amenities include smart TV apps and a private wifi network. The space The Casita is a guesthouse, with privacy from the main home of the property, which consists of four acres of pinon and mountain juniper, overlooking the beautiful Mancos Valley. The views are stunning and include Mesa Verde National Park, rolling rural valleys, hay fields, and the eastern aspect of the La Plata Mountains. The Casita is both private and convenient, located approximately two miles south of downtown Mancos. A 5-minute drive or 15-minute bike ride gives you access to town, or quick retreat to a bucolic evening. Mesa Verde National Park is visible from the property, and the entrance is 9 miles away. Mancos boasts both fine and casual dining, a cidery with locally sourced apples, a brewery, a Mexican restaurant, a cantina, an award winning bakery, a local coffee shop, and many seasonal festivals and events. Mancos also offers yoga classes, a gym, and a pottery studio. World class mountain biking is located 15 minutes west of town at Phil's World, a BLM trail system. You can hike, bike, run, ski, or rest! Mancos is 30 minutes from Durango, 1 hour and 40 minutes from Telluride, and 20 minutes from Cortez. No cleaning fee and easy check out! Guest access Guests have full access to the guest house, patio, and private hot tub. Other things to note COVID-19 Update: The owners are implementing all cleaning protocol recommended by AirBNB. The Casita will be cleaned and sanitized before each guest arrives. Additional time between bookings will be provided to ensure all guests' safety. Hand sanitizer, paper towels, and cleaning supplies will be available to all guests. The Casita is not suitable for guests under the age of 18.
