Tsukiya-Mikazuki-old western style double room

Tsukiya, Bed and Breakfast style hostel (Ryokan), opened in July 2014 in Kyoto. It’s a quaint traditional building, Machiya, and located in just one stop from Kyoto station. We provide Japanese style breakfast used local ingredients and seasonings from Kyoto with traditional taste. You can enjoy this healthy breakfast in your room and feel completely relaxed. Tsukiya has been listed on the Michelin guide 2018! The space Western style room(12㎡) with traditional Kyoto style Latticework. In the room, usually 2guests sleep with one double sized bed. Our house is real traditional Machiya. Machiya is made from wood, mud and paper. Weaving bamboos, daubing with mud, braiding woods, rubbing with oil and Kakishibu(persimmon tannin) This Machiya was built in 1920. We renovated it by ourselves in traditional way which hasn’t changed in hundreds of years. Unrecommended for those who might get annoyed by noise and vibration from upstairs or next door. ＜in the room＞ Wi-Fi Internet, air conditioning (Heat & Cool), hair dryer, kettle, tea set, bath towel, YUKATA (Japanese style bath robes) ※We do not have any disposable items such as tooth brush. Please bring your own to reduce garbage. ※We do not clean your room when you stay the same room. If you would like to change your linen, towel or YUKATA, we can change it to new one with 100yen each. Other things to note All rooms have no private bath room. ＜in Shared Space＞ ◆ Bath room…Enjoy your bath-time with ceramic bathtub. 　You can use the shower any time but bathtub can be used from 6pm to 12am.
