Loft in Los Angeles

Cuddle up on the sofa inside this bright and cozy loft or open the French doors to the private outdoor patio. A wooden wall, woven textiles, and an eclectic mask collection add warmth and texture, and there's a shared fire pit as well. This loft is situated in the back corner of the compound and has it's own outdoor dining area with french doors that open up onto the little patio. There is a full kitchen in the living space along with a smart TV, sofa, and chair for watching television or sitting and talking. There is also an Honor Bar that has drinks and snacks in the Bar Shed and coin-operated washer and dryer in the laundry shed. There are several outdoor sitting areas for lounging, talking and a fire pit area that can be turned on by notifying host. The bedroom is a separate space with a large closet and desk workspace. The bathroom includes a sink, toilet and tub with a glass enclosure. Guests have their own private loft but the outdoor common areas like the fire pit and sitting areas can be used by other guests, chances are you will rarely see the other guests. A tall fence with a gate separates the compound from the street and is locked at all times, only guests with keys can access the locked compound. There is free, on-the-street parking, that is usually abundant and available right out side the compound with no parking restrictions. If you would like to have guests, please check in with host about plans. Any guests visiting should leave premises by midnight, and quiet time in the outdoor shared spaces is 11pm. The loft is located in Rose Hills, an ethnically diverse residential neighborhood. There are several businesses, stores, and bus stop easily reached on foot. This is a newly burgeoning area with easy access to major freeways. Los Angeles is very spread out and while there is a limited Public Transportation system, so a rental car is recommended but ride sharing (Lyft or Uber) is good if you are not planning on going all over the city. The compound can also be accessed with public transport to and from LAX airport via the Public Metro Bus 79 or 78 and the FlyAway Bus. The Flyaway Bus can be taken from LAX to UNION STATION ($9.50 each way). From Union Station, walk out to Mission Road and catch the Metro Bus EASTBOUND 78 or 79 heading toward El Sereno, Alhambra, Pasadena for $1.75 each way. The bus stop is a 3 minute walk from the compound.
