Oikos Cottage is a cosy, two bed, dog friendly cottage perfectly located for exploring many favourite tourist destinations and beautiful beaches in far West Cornwall. Newlyn is a thriving fishing village which balances the traditional with many new exciting businesses and restaurants opening up. In the main bedroom is a king size bed and in the small bedroom a single bed. Complimentary hamper full of Cornish produce for stays of 5 nights or more and freshly baked welcome cookies for all guests. The space Wonderful scenic walks are right outside the front door of Oikos Cottage with stunning views over Newlyn harbour and St Michael’s Mount as the traditional fisherman’s cottage benefits from an elevated position overlooking the harbour. The main bedroom has a king sized bed and the second bedroom a single bed. A second additional toilet is upstairs with the bedrooms. Netflix available and super fast Wi-Fi (min guaranteed 20Mb but average 36Mb) with fibre broadband. Guest access Oikos Cottage is arranged over three floors and the stairs are fairly steep. It has the traditional wooden floorboards and beams of an old fisherman’s cottage on the ground floor. The main bathroom is downstairs so the cottage has the added benefit of an additional toilet with the two bedrooms upstairs. Other things to note The second smaller bedroom only fits one single bed without additional space for an extra camp bed or mattress. Guests with babies/toddlers please note the cottage has the original wooden floorboards on the ground floor and is arranged over three floors. The stairs are fairly steep for guests with limited mobility. The cottage is fairly small and only really suitable for one dog. Netflix available, a Smart tv, no terrestrial tv. A selection of DVDs in the cottage and more to borrow if required. Cornish tea is provided and Cornish ground coffee, for the cafetière, is provided. Parking is free on the street outside the cottage but car parks very near also (free after 6pm) if spaces limited outside the cottage. A week permit for a large car park with plenty of spaces, Sandy Cove (opposite the cottage) can be obtained via the App instructions displayed in the car park for £20.
