The space 🏝️ Welcome to Casa Arma – Your Private Beachfront Getaway 🌊 Casa Arma is a fully private villa located right on Serenity Beach, the most iconic and lively beach in the Pondicherry area – just 5 km from White Town and 6 km from Auroville. Open the gate and step straight onto the sand. Here, you’ll wake up to the sound of waves and experience life in an authentic fishermen village, where local charm meets coastal calm. This isn’t a hotel — it’s a real, immersive stay by the sea. ⸻ 🏡 The House – Layout & Features Casa Arma is a private villa – not shared, and not rented per room. Ground Floor • 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, each with a double bed and attached bathroom (hot water) • 1 living room with 2 sofas that can be used as single beds for 2 extra guests • 1 fully equipped kitchen • Small private garden First Floor (accessed by outdoor stairs) • Large terrace with panoramic sea view – ideal for sunrise, yoga, or relaxing • (Note: no toilet on this floor) 🔹 AC in both bedrooms only 🔹 Drinking water provided 🔹 Max capacity: 6 guests ⸻ 🧹 Services & Facilities • Daily cleaning by our maid (10 AM – 1 PM) • No caretaker on site, but our assistant is available during the day • Bedsheets and towels changed every 3 days (extra change: ₹500) • No food service, but delivery is easy and the kitchen is fully equipped ⸻ ⚡ About Electricity – A Local Reality Short power cuts are part of daily life in Tamil Nadu, especially near the coast. They usually last 10 to 20 minutes, and at Casa Arma, we’ve got you covered: A UPS backup keeps lights and fans running smoothly. AC and other appliances resume once the power is back. It’s a small adjustment for a truly local and peaceful experience 🌴 ⸻ 🐾 Pets, Groups & House Rules • Pets welcome (must be declared – any damage is your responsibility) • Groups of friends and moderate alcohol use are allowed • But: no parties, loud music or heavy noise after 10 PM • Minimum ₹3,000 fee for damages or excessive cleaning ⸻ 📍 Location – Serenity Beach • Located in Tamil Nadu, 5 km from Pondicherry • Not a private beach – part of a fishermen village, famous for surfing • Surf schools, cafés and local life all around 🛶 Expect boats and local life – it’s authentic and charming 🎉 On weekends and holidays, some beach noise is possible 🛵 Street parking only, safe and usually easy, there is also a paid parking nearby. 🦎 Despite regular pest control, lizards or insects may occasionally appear – this is the tropics! ⸻ ⏰ Check-in / Check-out • Check-in: from 2:00 PM • Check-out: before 11:00 AM (Timings are not flexible, so we can clean and sanitize the house properly) If you arrive early, you can drop your bags and freshen up at our nearby office. ⸻ If you have any questions, feel free to reach out – we’re happy to help you plan your perfect coastal escape at Casa Arma 🌊✨ Guest access The house is fully equipped, there is sheets and towels, all that you need for cooking, Internet WIFI and cleaning service every day. Other things to note This house is a private villa, this is not a compound in a big city, it means that sometimes some small insects can be there, we make regular pest control and we can provide repellent if needed, do not hesitate to ask me or my assistant. Also some lizards can be there, please note that in the area it is considered as lucky animals and useful as they kill bad insects, local people don't like to kill them. Lizards are totally safe animals and very afraid of humans.
