Mary River farm cottage

The Cottage has one bedroom with a queen bed, a sofa bed, a bathroom and a small kitchen, with a gas BBQ on verandah. Its suitable for a small family. It has Air-con. The farm has a herd of cows and some cultivated fields. There is a kilometer of Mary River frontage with bird, rare lungfish, frogs and platypus. There are large areas of scenic bush walking. Our place is dog friendly, but prefer the dog to stay outside in the secure enclosure on verandah. The space Bird sounds dominate in the early morning, kookaburra's included. The river area is scenic and well shaded, with lots of fish, wallabies and birds. Lots of our food comes from the vegie and herb garden. The citrus orchard overlooks the river valley. Guest access 150 acres are accessible to the guests. The paddocks occupied by cattle are 'no go' areas. Other exclusion areas are the machinery and hay sheds. A wheelchair accessible toilet/shower is available. Other things to note Extra people $20 AUD / night after 2 guests. A continental breakfast is included. Check in time is 2 pm. The nearest grocery shops are at Tiaro, Gympie or Maryborough Dogs are welcome but kept outside please in the secure enclosure on verandah just outside the cottage door.
