Description
The Little Sanctuary is a perfect place to start your journey around Northland. Located in historic Waimate North, 5 minutes from Te Waimate Mission. Kerikeri or Paihia is 20 minutes by car or 15 minutes to Ngawha Hot Springs. The cabin is a self-contained unit (3x6 metres) with heating/air conditioning, surrounded by cottage gardens filled with flowers creating a peaceful and relaxing environment for you to unwind. Cereal, bread, milk, tea and coffee are provided for you to make breakfast. The space The Little Sanctuary is the name of our property . We are located in the countryside surrounded by farms and other lifestyle properties . Your cabin is about 20 metres away from the main house with gardens filled with all sorts of heritage flowers. It backs onto fields that are sometimes grazed by cows. The unit is 3 x 6 metres (small but cosy) with an ensuite bathroom. A heating and air-conditioning unit is provided to keep you cool or warm when needed. It is a bit loud to run while sleeping so we provide extra blankets if needed. If you're in the mood for a movie, there is a TV with Freeview and a DVD player with a selection of great movies. There is a small kitchenette equipped with a microwave, bench-top oven, air-fryer, single induction element, saucepans, microwave cooking bowls, cutlery, and plates. It is perfect for two people, but it cannot accommodate more than two. We also like to share a bowl of the fruit on our trees when it is in season. Guest access Guests have their own private garden area surrounded by post and rail fencing with outdoor furniture to relax with a cup of tea, glass of wine or a good book.
