However, as it is located in a small cul-de-sac, it is in a very safe and quiet location as there is no through traffic, despite having all the incredible facilities at your fingertips. The best of all worlds is wrapped up in having this as your base to retire to and relax in after reaching London in the quickest time. Other things to note Chiltern Railways is a 2 minute walk from the apartment which takes you straight on to the platform and reaches London Marylebone in 10 minutes, from which you can take the Bakerloo line for a few stops to Oxford Street and beyond. Alternatively, there are a number of buses outside the station that also take you into Central London or towards the City of London. There is the 140 bus, 3 mins walk from the apt which takes you straight in the beautiful city centre of Harrow, from where you can explore the historic quarter of Harrow-on-The Hill which is like time stood still with one of the oldest schools, Harrow Boys School, home to many prime ministers and where Lord Byron sat outside and composed his many memoirs. A must do and see attraction as it is a mere stones throw from the apt. The 140 bus also takes you to Heathrow Airport in about 20-25 minutes. South Harrow underground station which is on the Piccadilly Line is a 10 min walk from the apt and also takes you straight into popular locations such as Covent Garden, Piccadilly, Leicester Square, Green Park, South Kensington in about 35-40 mins. There is an Asda supermarket within 5 mins of the apt as well as an array of the most wonderful ethnic shops selling delicious cultural delights.
