Description
Bundrowes House is spacious and bright, with stunning views of Donegal Bay and rolling countryside. Just 1 mile from the vibrant seaside town of Bundoran, this warm and welcoming home sits right on the Drowes River and oceanfront. It’s the perfect spot for large family gatherings, offering space, comfort, and unforgettable memories by the sea. The sunsets are amazing, the horses are just over the wall and the reception is warm :) - Ryan The space Bundrowes Housei is an iconic 'big house' in the local area and was built by a wealthy family of landowners in the 1890's as a hunting and fishing retreat. The fishing is still pretty good these days, with the Drowes River boasting the earliest salmon run in Ireland (if you look out the kitchen window you'll probably see a few salmon leaping from the river). Here are a few of my favorite things about Bundrowes House: 1. The SPECTACULAR summer sunsets over Donegal Bay 2. Sitting next to the stove in the downstairs dining room on a stormy day, watching the weather come in off the Atlantic 3. The coastal walk into Bundoran 4. Watching the horses gallop through the meadows on the grounds 5. The interesting original features tucked away throughout the house. 6. Relaxing and cooking in our brand new kitchen Guest access Guest have access to the entire home bar several small storage areas
