Meet The Whidbnb! This 950-sq. ft. Whidbey Island beach cabin is just a 2-minute walk to the water. The space features boho/mid-century modern decor, a well-appointed kitchen, cozy beds, covered parking, and a fully-fenced yard. Everyone is welcome at The Whidbnb. Dogs, too! :) We created the space as a quiet retreat from the hustle-and-bustle of Seattle, and boy, does it deliver! Whether you stay for a weekend or a week, you'll leave recharged and refreshed. The space The cabin is located in well-known Bush Point in South Whidbey, which is right outside of Freeland proper. Bush Point offers sweeping views of the Puget Sound and Olympic mountains—both of which you can see from inside and outside of the cabin. We recently fenced in the yard, making it an excellent outdoor hangout for families, friends, and dogs. Step out onto the deck and enjoy a nice cup of tea or glass of wine—the views are fantastic, no matter the time of day or year. While the cabin is certainly vintage (and has some of its charming quirks as a result!), we've ensured the space is clean and comfortable and stocked with all the comforts of home. The Whidbnb is also tech-savvy with WiFi, a Smart TV for those cozy Netflix nights, and keyless entry. ------------------------------------------------------- A few things to note: [5'S A BREEZE, 6 IS A SQUEEZE] We've set the listing up to accommodate 5 adults comfortably: 2 in each queen bed, and 1 on the pull-out futon. However, with the right attitude and sense of adventure, the futon could *technically* fit an extra person to squeeze in a total of 6. We've done it and can attest that it's okay for a short-term stay (or for two kiddos!), but just wanted to throw out a disclaimer to ensure your group REALLY likes each other before booking with 6! ;) [DOG FRIENDLY] We love dogs! If you'd like to bring your dog, no prob—we just ask that you give us a heads-up! The cleaning fee is set to accommodate dog stays and we make our best effort to ensure cleanliness from fur and everything else that comes along with our 4-legged friends! [ALLERGY CALL-OUT] We are a dog-friendly space, and while we do a thorough deep-cleaning after any four-legged guests stay with us, the Whidbnb may not be well-suited for anyone with pet allergies. [VINTAGE SPACE] This cabin has been tastefully renovated, but like any 80-year-old house near the water, it does have its "charm"! It tends to get a little humid and chilly when the temps dip, so we've set up space heaters, extra blankets, and dehumidifiers for your comfort. Guest access You'll have free access to the entire home, carport, and fenced backyard. Public access beach is just down the street.
