Mango Tree - Victoria Golf Resort

Mango Tree is a modern, stylish, architect-designed house within the award-winning Victoria Golf Resort. It offers spacious, open-plan living, including a large terrace and infinity pool, all with a fabulous panoramic view across the Victoria reservoir to the mountains beyond. The space We bought the building plot because of the fabulous view and designed the house, terrace and pool to make the most of it. We love it so much that we now spend at least 6 months of the year here. Which is one of the reasons why we haven’t let the house in the last few years. Now that we are letting it again, we like to think that when you first walk into the house you will see why we love it here so much. We have posted some photos, but we are not professional photographers and they don't really do justice to the house or the view both in terms of its scale or the ever changing nature throughout the day, from mist covered mountains at sunrise to the myriad tones at sunset and twinkling lights after dark. If you need to unwind from the stresses of day to day life just sit back and drink in the view. Both bedrooms are spacious with Super King size (6ft) beds and air-conditioned, with large glass doors maximising the view and have ensuite bathrooms with premium shower products and large rain-shower, plus separate dressing rooms. If required, one of the bedrooms can be reconfigured to have 2 single beds. Guest access Mango Tree is our home not a hotel, so if you book it, it will be your home for the duration of your stay, whether there are 1, 2, 3, or 4 of you. You won't have to share the house with other guests (or us) and our cook and caretaker will be there just to look after you. We have had couples, families and people on their own staying and received 'Wow' comments from all of them, so if you book to stay at Mango Tree this year I'm sure you will love it as much as we do. The indoor living area is a large open plan space comprising kitchen, dining and living areas which is all yours to enjoy, as is the large terrace, covered verandah and infinity pool, with 4 comfortable sunbeds, sofas and breakfast dining table. Other things to note If you play golf, you must play this course, it's one of Donald Steel's award winning gems. You won't have a problem getting a tee time, can rent clubs if you need to and the caddy master will ensure you get looked after well by your caddy. It's a great experience even if you're not on top form. There is also a very patient golf pro if you fancy a lesson or two on the range. Have a look at the golf course's website for full details. The course is now managed by Troon, the world’s premier golf management company and has undergone a major improvement programme in recent years. There is also a riding stables and mountain bikes to hire on the resort, as well as a naturalist who can be booked to take you on guided walks tailored to your wishes. These can all be arranged at the golf club reception. If you are more of an armchair sport enthusiast, the house has a 50in TV with full cable package offering lots of sports channels, as well as HBO and other movies and the full range of entertainment and news channels. We also have free fibre Wi-Fi so that you can get online and recently installed inverters with battery storage to ensure continuous electricity supply in the event of power cuts. There are ceiling fans throughout and both bedrooms also have A/C.
