Remote Rural Reststop B&B Farm stay.

We live in the middle of nowhere If you like quiet you will love it here. Although we heard a car go past two days ago. We have 93 acres with Native forest, chickens / cattle / calves and the cutest little Kune Kune pigs you'll ever meet. We have the privilege of sharing our home with a succession of puppies mostly Labradors; all of whom are Blind Foundation guide dog in training. And we are all ruled over with the Iron Claw of our SPCA rescue cat Ebony The space We only take one booking per day so whether there is one, three or five of you, you will have the entire ground floor of our home for your use. Including your own bathroom with a Spa bath. In the land of the Hobbits, home of the bungy jump and the jet boat; here is your chance to spend a night or two doing nothing, Refresh, Relax, Reflect, coffee on the deck, beer in front of the fire, wine in a candle lit bath or picnic under the trees. We offer you the opportunitty to do nothing and all the equipment you need to do it. Guest access The entire ground floor of our home is for you to use, but if it's alright with you we'll share the kitchen and dining table. If it's not alright with you we'll share them anyway. During your stay This is a working farm and we are here to help in anyway we can. Other things to note Dargaville (40 minutes north) and Warkworth (1 hour 20 minutes south) are our nearest supermarkets. There are small general stores in Ruawai, Paparoa and Maungatoroto. Feeding the piglets and calves and gathering the eggs for breakfast is all part of the fun. BUT if 5star eat off the floor cleanliness is your desire: go stay somewhere else, I give the place a man clean every day it's a farm house/our home it's lived in by real people and sometimes that means dust.
