Chalet Söni, a charming cottage to fall in love with
Description
Chalet Söni is in a fantastic location in the middle of the ski resort. It is a 3-minute walk to the lifts and ski school (free for children). On skis you can go directly from the slopes to the front of the house. The space The Söni has a wonderful view of the mountains from all sides. The house is from my mother. I also spend time in it again and again. It is cozily furnished with wooden furniture. On the first floor there is a double bedroom with a door to the terrace and next to it a single room. This includes a shower with toilet. There is also a practical storage room with washing machine and dryer, where you can also store ski gear. The first floor is completely made of wood, which creates a particularly cozy atmosphere. There is a small kitchen open to the living room. In addition, the parents' bedroom is next door with a bathroom and toilet. Good WiFi is available. A balcony with a table and bench creates a cozy sunny spot overlooking the Schafrücken. The western part has evening sun overlooking the Weisshorn. The house is at the end of a private road. As neighbors there are 3 houses that also belong to our family. You will not be bothered by cars and children can play in the snow in peace. On the sunny side there is a balcony with a table and bench and chairs. Simple deck chairs are also available in the garage with outside access. Other things to note In addition to the rental price, there is an accommodation tax from the municipality of Arosa. This amounts to 8 francs/person over 12 years/night in the summer season, 6 francs in the winter season and 3 francs in the off-season. In summer there are the Arosa Cards in digital form. This billing takes place after booking. Even in bad weather, Arosa offers a variety of options to make your stay varied. From cross-country ski trails, wonderful hiking opportunities, an ice rink and frozen lake areas for skating to wonderful toboggan runs (one of them only 3 minutes from the chalet), horse-drawn carriage rides, wellness offers and a variety of restaurants, bars and rustic mountain huts, you can put together an entertaining day program. There are two supermarkets and an organic shop in the village which can be reached by bus.
