Inside: 38sqm in total - bedroom, lounge with kitchenette, bathroom, entrance porch. Outside: 35sqm - private patio/dining area, outside shower, braai facilities. The Suite is part of a free-standing family home in a large private garden within a quiet residential area. This ground-floor apartment has been decorated and fitted to create a relaxing 'beach cottage' feel. This theme continues in the clean, simple decor, furnishings and decorative touches to create a beautiful and relaxing space, inside and outside. The bedroom offers an extra-long King-sized bed with duvet, two bedside tables and bedside lamps. There is a chest of drawers with a makeup mirror, and a wardrobe with a hanging rail. Additional coat hooks are located inside the porch. The air-conditioning unit is located in the bedroom. The ensuite bathroom includes a luxury free-standing bathtub, a separate walk-in shower, a single sink set in a free-standing vanity unit and, of course, a toilet. The lounge area includes a two-seater sofa, a sideboard and TV screen. Stream all your favourite TV shows or movies on a 42" UHD screen, linked to WiFi with uncapped data and 100MBs speed. There's an HDMI cable provided, for connecting to your laptop/device. Please note that guests will need their own account for online streaming - such as DStv, Netflix, Showmax etc. The kitchenette includes facilities for food storage and the preparation of 'simple' meals. Provided items include a fridge, microwave, electric frying pan, toaster, egg-boiler, kettle and a wide assortment of crockery, glassware and cutlery. Outside on the patio, there is a four-seater table and four chairs, which can be moved under the covered area near the pool during rainy weather. There is a Megamaster 'kettle-style' braai, braai tongs and a meat dish. Guests must provide their own choice of braai fuel. Just off the patio is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water, ideal for a clean-up after a day on the beach, or a late-night shower under an open sky! Obviously we can't list everything that IS NOT provided, but for clarity, here are a few things that we don't provide: There is no carport. There is no dressing table. There is no oven or hob. There is no desk or work chair inside. There is no dining table or chairs inside. There is no TV subscription service or decoder. Guest access Guests will have exclusive use of the Kernow Guest Suite, its patio and the outdoor shower. The unit has two dedicated entrances with their own keys. Parking for one guest vehicle is off-street, in the main driveway of the family home, which is enclosed by an electric gate. There are no covered carports. Guests must accept that they park their vehicle on the premises at their own risk. Regrettably the family swimming pool is not available to guests. Other things to note The unit is not suitable for children. Adult guests only, unless agreed with the owners prior to booking. Our garden is home to a wide variety of animals and birds, and we're on the daily route for a troop of vervet monkeys. They have never caused us any trouble, but please never feed the monkeys, and be mindful about not leaving fruit or bread where they can see it. The suite is strictly 'No Smoking' anywhere inside. Guests may smoke outside on the patio. While we cannot predict or control those occasional interruptions to the normal supply of electricity or water, we do provide items to mitigate the impact (torches, candles, bottled water, a key for the gate motor). The property does have Solar so in most cases we are ok.
