130,awata farmstay: Brick Cottage by lake 2/3 pax

130, Awata we aren't a resort. It’s our home and farm with cottages designed for you to experience comfort which is in sync with the surrounding landscape. We are a small family, who is in the process of building an institution which would act as a platform for interaction and integration, specially for the local tribal community. The space 130, awata is an off-grid art residency and a farm stay located deep in the tribal belt of North-East Maharashtra, at the back waters of upper lake Vaitarna. ~ TRAVEL ~ There are various routes from Mumbai & Nasik, which takes approx. 4 hours and 1.5 hours respectively. The interior meandering roads through the tribal belts are scenic, safe and well kept. ~ COTTAGE ~ The 'Red Brick Cottage' which you are seeing is similar to the 'Yellow Stone Cottage', apart from them we have our cafeteria, studio space, workshop & our house on the premises. The cottage is a comfortable & spacious for 2 adults/family. On a higher side it can easily accommodate 4 guests. The cottage has a separate entrance, attic (bedroom), a living room, a changing space, a washroom & a sit our area. If there are additional members (Above 2 ) we can make a comfortable arrangement in the living rooms for an additional charge per person. Please note there is wall with an accessible/lockable door from both end that separates the twin cottage. ~ F O O D ~ Our place being off-grid, we would love to cook for you. We can serve freshly cooked vegetarian meals at an additional charge depending on your liking. We can set-up barbecue for special arrangements for a small celebration. We would need you to share your availability & likings 48 hour prior to your visit. Please respect our meal timings. ~ W E A T H E R ~ Located by the lake and surrounded by hills weather is an integral part of experience. Winters (Nov, Dec, Jan & Feb) is the best time ranging from cool to cold with a morning mist. Summers (March, April & May ) so are hot afternoons but pleasant and cool evenings with brown landscape. Mosoon (June, July & Aug) no doubt is at its best with heavy rainfall and lush green landscape.
