Totally self-contained and private. An affordable place to stay with easy access to get anywhere you want to go. Perfect for adventurous travelers. Wake up refreshed in this snug, sunny space and step out onto the patio for a relaxed coffee, then hop on the bus to the Museums, Theaters or fabulous shopping or the many markets. Snuggle up in bed for a movie night, or head out to a nearby pub for drinks, or any of the diverse and tasty restaurants, I can recommend many to you. ***COVID19*** We deep clean and sanitize between stays, so you can book with confidence The space is a double bedroom/studio with private shower room and loo which is next to my house.The room is modern with under floor heating,there is a wardrobe,smart HD TV, a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Juice and breakfast snacks are provided for your stay. There is also wine and beers that you can help yourself to and donate to the honesty box if you so wish. There is an outside area that can be used,and you can smoke in, and a place to put bicycles if you use them. As someone who travels frequently I know the bed is very important, the mattress is so comfortable it has to be slept on to be believed and all the sheets and towels are freshly laundered. You have your own entrance, so coming and going is independent from our home,which I think is nicer for you, you have your own fridge and tea and coffee making facilities, you do have your own plates and cutlery,if you wish to have take away food.We are surrounded by every sort of cafe and restaurant you may wish for. I am very happy to help with any questions during your stay-whether thats recommendations for sightseeing or restaurants,through to how to get on to the wifi.I will give you my phone number when you arrive to text me with any questions if I am not at home.I am here to help! I also provide you with juices-breakfast bars,fizzy water,bottled water,tea and coffee for you to enjoy. The studio is two minutes from Battersea Park, with Central London just minutes further away. There are many bars, pubs, and countless lovely restaurants nearby, while the beautiful river Thames is a four-minute walk from the studio. Near the river Thames, in the very popular Battersea, SW London lies this stunning 4 bed, split level, garden maisonette. Stone throws away from the gorgeous Battersea Park for nature lovers and Kings Road, Chelsea for a spot of shopping. I Just moments away from the lovely Battersea Square, short walk to the river Thames pathway, Battersea Park, Kings Rd in Chelsea and Northcote Rd in Clapham Junction, enjoyed by residents and visitors alike. LITTLE KNOWN FACTS ABOUT BATTERSEA Battersea has appeared in many British films over the years. The Power Station can be seen in Spice Girls – The Movie. Scenes from End of the Affair, 101 Dalmations and Wilde were all filmed in Battersea Park. Buster Merryfield, who played Uncle Albert in Britain's favourite sitcom, Only Fools And Horses, was born in Battersea on 27th November 1920. The first football match ever played under Football Association rule took place on 9th January 1863, at Battersea Park. Famous residents include comedian Jack Dee, celebrities Simon and Yasmin Le Bon, and chef Gordon Ramsey. 007 star Roger Moore was also born here in 1927. Lady bicyclists shocked locals by riding in Battersea Park in the 1890s. They had been banned from Hyde Park! Battersea is extremely well connected, with excellent public transport links to all the Central London sights.The bus stop is just outside and Battersea Park station is a 3 minute walk from the studio. Gatwick Airport and Heathrow Airport are accessible. Also remember Uber works perfectly in London.
