Island Riding Centre welcome you to our glamping safari tents here on the Isle of Wight. These spacious tents are set on raised platforms within a safe and secure fenced area in acres of countryside forming part of our equestrian centre located on the outskirts of Newport and close to all of the Island's many attractions. Accommodating 6 to 8 guests each has hot running water in two bathrooms with shower, WC and sink, electricity and wi-fi and kitchenette. Guests can access all riding activities The space Accessed via French doors the safari tent has been divided into 3 sleeping areas separated by canvas walls for privacy (including a zipped doorway. The first bedroom is arranged as a king size bed with a drawer unit for storage. The remaining two bedrooms have two sets of adult size bunk beds for up to 4 people in each ie sleeping a maximum overall total of 10 (with children or small adults on top bunks). There are 2 separate bathrooms with wooden wall dividers and a sliding wooden door to each of which contains a shower, WC and sink. The open plan living area has lounge seating with a kitchenette containing a sink, fridge, mobile storage unit and a twin electric hob for cooking/boiling the kettle. There are sockets and overhead lighting and access to free guest wi-fi. Outside there is a table and benches for dining on a spacious deck which can be lit in the evenings. The communal gardens surrounding the five tents are securely fenced so no need to worry about children running off (if the gate is kept closed) with plenty of room to run around. There is a large communal fire pit for guests to mingle as well as 2 smaller portable fire pits and BBQ to share with additional bench seating to share.
