We are located in Thouraz, at an altitude of 1,700 meters (5,577 feet) in the Aosta Valley. The tranquility of listening to the silence, the wonder of gazing at the starry sky, the pleasure of enjoying breathtaking views of mountains, forests, and pastures, and the relaxation of a private hot tub: this is the magic of our apartment. The space The apartment, of 55 square meters, is located on the top floor of the structure, therefore, the beautiful wooden beams of the roof that make up the ceiling are highlighted. The accommodation is accessed from the parking area (private and free but not guarded), through a driveway on a slight slope (there are no stairs) illuminated by street lamps with presence sensors at night. The property is connected to a large, private outdoor area that is not visible to or accessible by other guests, equipped with a wooden sun lounger, table, chairs, umbrella, and a small fountain. We have recently added an enclosed, heated veranda for the winter months, which houses a fully equipped hot tub. This new veranda is one of the added values of this apartment: the hot tub is added to the hydromassage shower column inside the beautiful en-suite bathroom. We designed it to give unique sensations and emotions to our guests like the one, for example, to stay comfortably in the hot tub, in the heat, while it snows outside or relax after a nice hike. The interior of the apartment is made of stone and wood, respecting our tradition. The bathroom has wooden parquet flooring, and the wooden furniture is handcrafted and custom-made; there is a walk-in shower with a hydromassage column, as well as complimentary toiletries (soap, shower gel, intimate wash, and slippers). In the apartment, the kitchenette is spacious and well organized and equipped with basic necessities: oil, salt, vinegar, sugars, tea, coffee, spices, detergents...As for the heating, we have replaced the pellet stove with the latest generation electric radiators of low consumption and high performance since the energy provided comes from 100% renewable sources. There is a smart TV and free Wi-Fi. In the breakfast basket you will find many homemade products such as our cakes, wholemeal bread with figs and nuts, jam made with the fruit of the trees of our orchards, products from the Aosta Valley, such as milk, butter and yogurt and again cornflakes, muesli, fruit juices. In the living area, there is a sofa bed that can accommodate the third guest. The sofa bed can always remain open without taking up space in the dining area. Directly from your accommodation you can start hiking and activities in all seasons of the year: on foot along the many kilometers of trails (including the prestigious Mont Fallère Tour), with mountain biking, hiking and mountaineering skiing and snowshoeing (for the latter you can rent at the property) or fun descents with the sled (rental in the structure). In the stream and on the lake you can practice fishing (also with a companion). In addition to the private hot tub of the apartment, our property also offers an outdoor hot tub (service for a fee and NOT available from the end of September to the end of May except for different weather conditions) located in a solarium to pamper yourself and relax in the sun after a trip; it is for your exclusive use at the time of your reservation: provide towels, slippers, a glass of wine or other drink. In the property you will find a well-stocked library and board games that you can bring to your space. Laundry service for a fee; in the apartment there is an iron and ironing board at your disposal. Our mission is, therefore, to offer guests tranquility, nature and hospitality. Some information about the cleanliness of the listings: considering our "mission" of a serene and relaxing stay, we also want to add that of the personal safety of our guests. For this purpose, we want to emphasize not only the cleanliness, which is personally cared for by the property, but also on the disinfection of our homes. After normal cleaning, ALL surfaces and objects are disinfected with alcohol and/or bleach products. In addition, a dispenser with a disinfectant solution is available in each accommodation. Please note that all grocery stores and restaurants are located down in the central valley, about 25 minutes from the property. Guest access Our parking spaces are available for guests but unattended, therefore, the property is not liable for damage caused by third parties. Other things to note The property is immersed in an oasis of peace and tranquility and, these, are the sensations we want to give our guests. Therefore, we DON'T love shouting, shouting, and too noisy games. For this reason, we do not host families with children of young age. It is not allowed to organize parties and events as well as host third people in your apartment without permission from the property. Inside the apartment, it is forbidden to bring sports equipment such as bicycles, skis, etc., which we will keep in our garage. We ask our guests to leave the apartment tidy and clean. You can leave your car in the private area in front of the apartment. The parking area is unattended, so the property is not liable for damage caused by third parties.
